3m-6=7m+4 your going to take the number without a variable and move them to one side while you take the ones with the variable and move them to the other side and then divide your number with the variable by your number without.

0.75 + 0.25 = 3/4 + 1/4 

0.50 + 0.50 = 2/4 + 2/4 or 3/6 + 3/6 you get the point.
