The x-intercept is where your line first touches the x-axis. The y-intercept is the same thing but is when the line touches the y-axis. The total amount of money would go in the box that says y-intercept. The number of cups of lemonade that must be sold to break even would go in the x-intercept box. By break even they mean to get out of debt.
