What is the volume of a cylinder with r=3 and h=10

This is one of those questions where, if you know the formula, it's easy,
and of you don't know the formula, there's no way.

In fact, the whole purpose of the question is to help you remember the formula.

The volume of a cylinder is

                           (pi) x (the radius)² x (the height).

For this particular cylinder, that's

                            (pi) x (3)² x (10) =

                           (pi) x (9) x (10)  =  90 pi cubic units.

If you use (3.14) for (pi), then that's  282.6 cubic units.
