Once Isabel rented the warehouse space, she decided to post ads on several social media sites to advertise her online bookstore. Let x represent the number of months the ads have been posted. Isabel finds that the function below describes the number of books sold as a function of the number of months her ads have been posted. f(x) = 1000 (\sqrt[3]{x})+ 1000
How many books were sold after 8 months? (3 points)
3000 (I wrote this - is it correct?)

Graph the function. (10 points)
(I'm not sure how to graph it?)

-
A transaction is positive if there is a sale and negative when there is a return. Each time a customer uses a credit card for a transaction, the credit company charges Isabel. The credit company charges 1.5% of each sale and a fee of 0.5% for returns.

Let x represent the amount of a transaction and let f(x) represent the amount Isabel is charged for the transaction. Write a function that expresses f(x).
f(x)=.015(x) (this is what I wrote, is that correct?)

Graph the function.
(1, .015) (10, .15) (100, 1.5) (1000, 15) (are these the points I would graph?)
