You need to know how many rolls of wallpaper to buy to decorate their basement room, so yo know how much to charge them for materials. However, they are not sure which type of wallpaper to buy Rules and information. Wallpaper rolls are 53 cm wide and 10.05 m long On each wall, the paper must be placed with the centre of the roll in the centre of the wall. The paper must not be cut or joined part way down a wall. (Only full lengths of wallpaper are allowed) The dimensions of the rectangular room are 3.38 x 4.95 m. The height is 2.40 m. Wallpaper with a flower pattern that repeats every 64 cm costs RM270 per roll. Wallpaper with a check pattern that repeats every 10 cm costs RM290 per roll. Question (1) Estimate the number of rolls of paper needed by making rough estimates.

Question (2) Showing all your working steps, calculate the cost of decorating the room with either of the rolls of paper.
