Discussion Topic Like fractions, rational expressions can be added, subtracted, multiplied, and divided. When dealing with two rational expressions that have different denominators, how would you find a common denominator? What effect would that have on the numerators of the expressions? Would the same idea work for simple numeric fractions? Why or why not? Given two rational expressions, how would the process you follow to multiply or divide them differ from multiplying or dividing two numeric fractions?
