A sample of 15 children from Cape Town showed that the mean time spent watching TV is 28.50 hours per week with standard deviation of 4 hours per week. Another sample of 16 children from Durban showed the mean time as 23.25 hours per week with a standard deviation of 5 hours per week. Assuming the mean time spent by children watching TV is normally distributed for the two populations with equal standard deviation with samples drawn are independent. Calculate the 95% confidence interval for the difference in mean lifetimes spent by the children watching TV. (12)
