Kathy and Robert Hawn had a pottery stand at the annual Skippack Craft Fair. They sold some of their pottery at the original price of $9.50 each, but later decreased the price of each by $1.00. They know they sold 83 pieces, and they took in a total of $725.50. Kathy and Robert want to figure out
which of the two prices made them more money. First find out how many they sold at the original price and how many they sold at the reduced price.
Then find how much money they made at each price. Which price ended up making them more money at the Fair?
