Describe a function that has an inverse function that is well-defined. What process do you think you could go through to determine the original function if all you were given were the inverse function and a table of values for that function? For example, say you are given that f−1(x)=3x−1, and when x = -4, 1, 2, the original function has values of f(x) = -1, 0, 1 respectively. How would you find the rule for f(x)? If this specific question has already been answered, then try to come up with your own example and see if your peers can help solve it.
