A preschool student finds a big bag of cookies and begins to take the cookies from the bag and hide them in her cubbyhole. After hiding 3 cookies, she decides
to keep count of how many cookies are actually in her cubbyhole. First there are
3 cookies. After pulling out more cookies, she then has 5 cookies, then 7 cookies,
and then 9 cookies. However, she only knows how to count to 10!
Assuming she continues to pull cookies from the bag at the same rate indicated
by the sequence of cookies above, how would the preschool student continue the
pattern? Describe the arithmetic sequence in this context.
