A scientist took a random sample of 30 1 LB packages of ground turkey and subjected half of them to irradiation method 1 and the other half to irradiation method 2. The bacteria count was measured and sample statistics were calculated (standard deviations were 4 and 2 respectively) were calculated. (Note: Less bacteria would be better).
• What would be the most appropriate test to see if method 1 is better?
• My parameter of interest here would be:.
