The CT difference (delta Ct) between the obese (24) and lean (20) samples for the reference gene (GAPDH) is four cycles. There is 16 times more cDNA of the reference gene in lean compared to obese samples. At the same time, there is no difference in CT value between the obese (22) and lean (22) samples for the LEP gene. What does this mean regarding LEP expression in obese and lean samples
