STEP ONE: Find the zeros / x-intercept of the graph
The grid number is 2 per grid as 5 grids are 10 units.
The first intercept is between the y-axis and the first grid.
2 / 2 = 1
The second intercept is on the second grid.
2 Γ 2 = 4
STEP TWO: Plug the zeros into factorization form
Factor form = (x - xβ) (x - xβ)
xβ = (1, 0)
xβ = (4, 0)
Factorization of xΒ² - 5x + 4 = (x - 1) (x - 4)
