HELP PLS MAT WORD PROBLEM Sarah Learning learning to do extreme snowboarding. One of her jumps on a snowboard could be described using the function y= -0.4x^2 + 1.4x +3, where y is the height above her landing surface in metres and x is the horizontal distance from her takeoff point.

A- calculate the discriminant. What does the discriminant indicate about the function?

B- use the quadratic formula to calculate the roots of the function.
