Marissa: 2(4r) + 2(4s)

Clara: 2(5r + 3r) + 4(2s)

Alex: 24 Ă— r Ă— s

Part A

Which expressions are equivalent to the perimeter of the figure? List all of the correct

expressions. Show how you know the correct expressions are equivalent to each other.

Part B

Hanif says that 2(4s) + 4(3r) is also equivalent to the perimeter of the figure.

Is Hanif correct? Justify your answer by substituting values for r and s.
