We have two fractions, \dfrac{5}{12} 12 5 ​ start fraction, 5, divided by, 12, end fraction and \dfrac{3}{4} 4 3 ​ start fraction, 3, divided by, 4, end fraction, and we want to rewrite them so that they have a common denominator (and whole number numerators). What numbers could we use for the denominator?
