A used book store started selling used CDs and DVDs. In the first week, the store sold a combined total of 40 used CDs and DVDs. Each CD sold for $4.00 and each DVD sold for $6.00. The sales for both CDs and DVDs totaled $180.00. Lex x = CD sales and y = DVD sales

Part 1 Write a system of equations to solve for the number of CDs and DVDs sold.
