How is estimation when dividing multi digit numbers

I'm no expert in math since I am not even in high school but here is what I think!
Estimation can help you find a number close to the real exact number.
This will help so you can check your answer.
Or if you get a lot of decimals just round to the nearest tenths or whatever number.
That is how estimation is helpful.
