Given that;

Larger number is 12 more than smaller number

Sum of both number is 74

Find:

Both number

Computation:

Assume;

Smaller number = a

So,

Large number = 12 + a

So,

a + 12 + a = 74

2a + 12 = 74

2a = 62

a = 31

Smaller number = 32

Large number = 12 + a

Large number = 12 + 31

Large number =  43
