Find the missing segments in this 30-60-90 right triangle ab=8 bc=4 cd=?

I'm guessing that CD would be the 'altitude' of the of the right triangle, also considered as a leg, too, with also AB being the hypotenuse. If this is the case, then CD would measure 4√3. Hope this helps.
