In this type of equation you could use different methods. But I choose to do Quadratic Method.

a= 3, b= 8, and c= 4.

X= -(8)+_SQUARE ROOT (8)^2-4(3)(4)/2(3)

X= -8+_SQUARE ROOT16/6 Square Root of 16 is 4

X= -8+_4/6

X=  -8+4/6= -4/6= -2/3.

X= -8-4/6= -12/6= -2.

Answer is: -2/3 and -2.

answer: the area of the parallelogram below is 42 square meters.
