9/1 over 3/4 simplify this problem

I think the answer is -12 
-9/1 over 3/4      -9/1=-9    3/4=0.75 -      -9/0.75= -12

 the answer is -12 

step 1: -9/1 over 3/4    

step 2: -9/1=-9  

step 3: 3/4=0.75 -      

step 4: -9/0.75= -12
