Combine Like Terms:

6+56b+28

(56b)+(6+28)

 56b+34

First use the distributive property, then combine like terms.
6 + 7 (8b + 4) = 6 + 7(8b) + 7(4)
= 6 + 56b + 28
= (6 + 28) + 56b
= 34 + 56b
