Please help GYMNASTICS A gymnast throws a baton up into the air during her floor routine. The height of the baton can be modeled by
y= -16^2 +24x + 4, where x is the time in seconds and y is the height of the baton in feet since it was released. The celling of
the gym can be represented by the function y = 42.
a. Solve the system of equations algebraically.
b. Will the baton reach the ceiling of the gym? Explain your reasoning.
