As shown, there are three possible routes to hike to the dig site and all paths are on the same elevation. All distances are given in miles. The direct route, AD, is 40 miles long but last week two geologists were attacked by grizzly bears on that route. Most of the path from B to D is through thick brush. The remaining paths have no known hazards at this time.
