I'm in financial algebra and I'm pretty confused by this question. A cook earns $10.20 per hour and time and a half for each hour worked over 40 per week. If she grossed $499.80 last week, how many hours did she work?
Please explain this to me, I'd really appreciate it. It's using (R + O = T) and Time and a half.
