Annie was going to use the elimination method. She was ready to add the same value to both sides of the equation to eliminate the x-terms when she noticed a problem: Both x-terms are positive! 2x+7y=13
2x+3y=5

Rather than adding the equations together, how else could you eliminate the x-term? Once you have figured out a method, solve the system and check your solution.
