Any tips for figuring out which method to use to solve integrals? Like use partial fractions when you see you need to take the integral of a function. Complete the square if you have to.
use integral by parts if it's all getting multiplied ( which i think is the uv - \int\limits {vdu} \, )
But like. When do you know you have to use trig substitution before you can use one of the previous methods? My teacher mentioned using a special one to solve some integrals, but I can't currently find my notes on that... Any other tips or recommendations?
