The Boeing 737 is a large jetliner passenger plane. It cruises at a speed of 500 mph. On a normal trip it flies the 3500 miles from NYC to London and the 3500 miles back for a total flight time of 14 hours. However, on its next trip it is caught in the polar jetstream, a fast river of air at high altitude which pushes west-to-east at 150 mph. With this weather influence, how many hours does the flight now take on roundtrip?
