If you solve the equation: ax+by/c=d for x, what would you get?

1. multiply the “c” in the denominator to the other side

2. subtract the “by”

3. divide by “a”

I used to always get super confused when the problems only had variables, but all you have to do is look at it like any other equation. Don’t let the variables confuse you. Hope this helps!
