When describing radioactive decay one looks at something called half-life. Half-life is the time required for exactly half of the radioactive material to decay. The isotope nickel-63 has a half-life of about 100 years. Suppose you have 15,220 atoms of nickel-63, chart the decay over the next millennium (1000 years). Round up if you have a decimal answer. How many atoms are left, and how many decayed?
