Problem: The number of years from the start of the Great Depression to the first presidential election of Richard Nixon is six years less than three times Raul’s age. Nixon’s first presidential election happened 39 years after the Great Depression.

Part A: Using the given information, write an equation to find Raul’s age, r.

Part B: Rewrite the equation from Part A by factoring the side that contains the variable r.

Part C: Solve the two previous equations for r. What value does each equation give for Raul’s age? Are the two values the same?

Part D: Raul’s grandfather is Miguel, and Raul’s sister is Paula. Raul’s age is the same as his grandfather’s age minus 60 times the age of his sister. Miguel is 65 years old. Using the results from Part C, write an equation to find Paula’s age, p (in years).

Part E: Rewrite the equation from Part D by factoring the side that contains the variable p.

Part F: Solve the equation for p to find Paula’s age. Express her age (in years) as a fraction.

Part G: How many months old is Paula?

Answer everything! Thank you so much you don't know how happy I am! Need this by tomorrow at least! Hugs!
