Doran wants to graph g(x) = 4x^2 − 24x + 7. He ends up with the graph shown. He knows it will have a y-intercept at (0, 7), because c=7. He knows that -b/2a will give him the axis of symmetry, or the x-coordinate of the vertex. When he calculates -b/2a, he gets -3. which he substitutes back into the function, and gets 115. He puts those together, for a vertex of (-3, 115). However, that isn't the vertex on his graph. What mistake did Doran make, and what result should he have gotten? Explain clearly, referring to the axis of symmetry, and vertex of the parabola specifically, and numerically.
