The template shows how to create a box with a lid from a sheet of card stock that is 10 inches wide and 24 inches long. In the template, solid line segments indicate cuts, and dashed line segments
indicate folds. The square flaps, each with a side length of x inches, are glued to the sides they overlap
when the box is folded up. The box has a bottom and four upright sides. The lid, which is attached to
one of the upright sides, has three upright sides of its own. Assume that the three sides of the lid can
be tucked inside the box when the lid is closed.

-24 in.
Your job is to create a 1 minute video explaining how to find the value of x that will produce the box with the maximum
volume. You must include the following in your video:
.
.
The polynomial function that represents the volume of the box and how you found it.
How to find the roots of the function.
How to sketch the function using the roots and degree of the function (Without Desmos).
The value of x that produces the maximum volume. (You may now use Desmos to find x)
The dimensions of the box and its maximum volume.
.
You may get help from other students in the class, but you will be graded individually based on your video presentation

Mary beth used the mapping rule to find the coordinates of a point that had been rotated 90° counterclockwise around the origin. examine the steps to determine whether she made an error. m (3, –6) is rotated 90° counterclockwise. (x, y) → (–y, x) 1. switch the x- and y-coordinates: (6, –3) 2. multiply the new x-coordinate by –1: (6(–1), –3) 3. simplify: (–6, –3) .
