Clancy has 4 and 2/3 cups of yogurt to share with his friends at a party. Each guest will receive 1 serving of yogurt which is 34 of a cup. Write a multiplication equation to determine the number of people, p, who can be invited to the party. How many people can Clancy invite to his party if he needs a serving of yogurt as well? If Clancy had 3 people that decided not to come after he purchased the yogurt for the party, what equation could he use to determine the new serving size Clancy and each guest could have?
