1)At Silver Gym, a monthly membership is $25, and personal training sessions are $30 each. At Fit Factor, a monthly membership is $65, with $20 charged per personal
training session. How many personal training sessions would Sarah have to buy to
make the total of the two gyms equal? Create and solve an equation to determine
the answer.

2)If Sarah decided that, she needed to purchase 10 personal training sessions in a
month, which would offer her the better deal? Determine the cost of each package –
both Fit Factor and Silver Gym- and determine the better deal.

3)When would it make sense for Sarah to purchase a membership at Silver Gym? Fill in
the table to determine how many personal training sessions would make Silver Gym
cheaper than Fit Factor. Show your work after substituting. Circle the values of x
(training sessions) which apply.

Our star pitcher, foster enlight, can throw a pitch so fast that it gets to the catcher’s mitt before it leaves foster’s fingers! if the team wins a game then the probability that foster was pitching is 0.8 but only if foster had at least one day’s rest since his last pitching assignment. if foster does not have a day off and the team still wins, the probability that foster was pitching drops by half of what it was on the previous day. if the team wins three games in succession from the toronto tachyons and foster pitched in game #2, what is the probability that he pitched in one or more of the other games? (assume that foster did not pitch on the day before the first game of this three game series.)
