An independent movie company determines the profit p for producing n DVD copies of a movie is p= -0.02n^2 + 3.4n - 16. p is in thousands of dollars and n is in thousands of units. Find the number of DVD's that should be produced to maximize the profit and find the maximum profit. I ended up getting the maximized profit as -15.88 thousand dollars but that doesn't seem, right? So I'm having trouble understanding both how to find both answers and what both answers are.
