You worked a complicated set of shifts this week. Your base pay is $11.30 per hour and you get time-and-a-half on holidays. Monday was the Fourth of July and you worked 8 hours. Then you worked 30 more hours
during the week. Your employer deducts $75 per week towards medical
insurance that is before taxes. Assume you pay 15% withholding, 5.3% for Social Security, and 1.45% for Medicare. What is your take-home paycheck for the week?

Remember to subtract $75 before you calculate withholding, social security, and medicare taxes. Remember time and a half means pay for those hours is actually 1.5 times the pay times the hour
