Follow this link to view Jamie's work. Critique Jamie's work by explaining the reasonableness of the scenario and the accuracy of the two parts of the graph he described. For any portion of Jamie's response in which he has made an error,
provide and explain an alternative response.
To enhance Jamie's explanation, describe both sections of the piecewise function using linear equations. Include any limits
to the domain.

HERES THE ANSWER TO ANYBODY WHO STILL NEEDS IT:
“Jamie’s work describes a relay race. A runner begins the race and runs at a steady pace for 1 minute. Their point on the graph is 12, 1. His partner then takes over and runs at a steady, but faster pace for another 1 minute. The partner’s point on the graph is 20, 2. Comparing the distances, Jamie‘s work is not considered reasonable and accurate because the partner ends up running a distance ahead of the other runner. In both sections, they can be described using linear equations for example from the start until 12, the distance elapsed is 1/12 of a mile per minute. Using linear equations, x is the total distance the relay runs at a steady pace.

x/12 * 12 + x/8 * 8 = 2
x + x = 2
2x = 2
x = 1”

sorry if it’s too long, but this will definitely give you an A+ bc i got one :) good luck!!
