A daycare center director decided to experiment on the 2 to 4 year old children in his center. Typically an average of 60 children are dropped off at the center every morning, with a standard deviation of σ = 5.2. The director directed his staff to begin feeding the children two cookies and a cup of coffee to each child before sending them home to their parents. After several weeks, the director noticed that an average of 64 children were dropped off ever day in a random sampling of ten days. What is the probability that a random sample of 10 has a mean that is greater than 64? Based on your answer, is this practice of sending frenzied children home to parents to encourage them to want to drop them off at the day care center more often causing a significant increase in attendance?
