Practice your presentation! You may use note cards to help you feel more comfortable talking about yourself, your goals, and your portfolio, but your presentation should not be you reading your note cards. Be sure that you include transitional phrases to guide you audience. Practice in front of a mirror or a trusted friend or family member. After you've practiced, think about your strengths and weaknesses or areas to improve before you finalize your presentation. As you continue to practice, try to incorporate those improvements into your final presentation.
