 5x + 40 = 2x + 70

a) The break even point is (10,90) which means if you will sell 10 tickets using each of these ways you will still get $90. The cost will be the same for selling 10 giant tickets.

b) so to solve this  you will have to use the two equations and put in 20 for x because x is the number of tickets.

 First offer :  y= 5(20) + 40  

                    y= 140    

Second offer:  y = 2(20) + 70

                     y= 110  

Answer to B:  The first offer will be a better deal, which you  get $40 plus and $5 for every ticket sold because it will give you a greater income.You money will be $30 more greater than using the second offer.  

c)  Because the two different offers can change in amount as you work for long so you may chose the better offer now but as time goes by the other   can have more income.
