i) 7x + 8 = -90
ii) 5y - 4 = 2y - 25
iii) 4 (p + 3) = 36
iv) 2 (4f + 3) = 3 (2f + 6)

i) 7x + 8 = -90

<=> 7x = -98

<=> x = -98/7

<=> x = -14

ii) 5y - 4 = 2y - 25

<=>3y = -21

<=> y = -21/3

<=> y = -7

iii) 4(p + 3) = 36

<=> p + 3 = 36/4

<=> p + 3 = 9

<=> p = 9 - 3

<=> p = 6

iv) 2 (4f + 3) = 3 (2f + 6)

<=> 8f + 6 = 6f + 18

<=> 2f = 12

<=> f = 12/2

<=> f =6
