Jameson was so excited after watching the balloon launch competition that he was
determined to launch a balloon higher and farther than anyone else. He went to a local
football field and practiced. After, he ran home to tell his family about his best launch.
He had started at the 2 yard line, shot it high into the air and it landed at the 26 yard line;
24 yards! He just wasn't sure how high it went. Create an equation, table and graph to
represent his balloon launch. Let x represent the yard line and y the height in feet of the
balloon. The table should show the height at every two yards starting at the two until it
hits the ground. How high did the balloon go? At what yard line was it at when it reached
its highest point?
