This year at the state fair they held two hot dog eating contests. The first contest had 19 contestants and the winner would be the person that ate the most regular-sized hot dogs in 15 minutes. The second contest had 23 contestants and the winner would be the person that ate the most jumbo-sized hot dogs in 15 minutes. The data from both contests are shown in the box-and-whisker plots above. Using the box-and-whisker plots, the results for the -sized hot dog contest has the greater variability.
