Linear interpolation is a method of curve fitting to get approximate values of an unknown function using data from sample points. Linear interpolation finds the straight line that connnects two sample points (x0,y0) and (x1,y1). For any x in the interval (x0,x1), the approximate value for y is the value on this straight line. Using the point slope formula for a line (y - y1)
