A cylindrical tank with volume 2451 cubic meters is to be constructed and insulated so that with water of 20° C and air of 0° C the heat loss through the cylindrical sides will be 4 Cal/m2 per hour and the heat loss through the circular roof will be 11 Cal/m2 per hour. There is no heat loss through the base.
