A rectangular garden is to be enclosed by a fence and divided into two equal areas by an interior
fence as shown in the diagram. One side is for vegetables and the other for chickens. (They have
to be separated or else the chickens would eat the vegetables!) If there is 1200 ft of fence in
total, what is the largest possible total area that can be enclosed?
