Suppose that the minimum number of buses required during the ith hour of the day be denoted by bi (i=1,…,24). Each bus works for 6 consecutive hours. If the number of buses during the ith hour is more than bi, then a cost (Ci) incurs per hour per bus. Formulate the problem as a linear programming problem to minimize the total cost of extra buses.
