Hi! I'm new here and this is my first question and it's kind of long. I want to also know if there is any website that will teach me how to do this process. Take your time, it's ok, I'm not in a rush.

A teacher suspects that students at his school are getting less than the recommended 8 hours of sleep
a night, on average. To test his belief, the teacher asks a random sample of 30 students at his school,
“How much sleep did you get last night?” The mean of the sample was 6.64 hours and the standard
deviation of the sample was 1.98 hours.
Is there convincing evidence at the = 0.05 significance level that students at this school are, on
average, getting less than the recommended 8 hours of sleep a night?
